Yuzuru Hanyū, born 7 December 1994, is a Japanese figure skater who competes in the men's singles discipline. He is the 2014 Olympic champion, the 2014 World champion, the 2013-2014 Grand Prix Final champion, the 2010 World Junior champion, and the two-time (2012-2013) Japanese national champion. He is the first man to break 100-point barrier in the men's figure skating short program (101.45 at the Sochi Winter Olympics 2014).
